Annual Steele City Flea Market & Antique Farm Machinery Show

The third weekend in September marks the Steele City Flea Market & Living History Weekend. Steele City is located just 12 miles southeast of Fairbury on Hwy 8.
Don't miss the food and live music both days!
FREE vendor space for vendors selling everything from antiques and primitives to collectibles and crafts; Food and Live Music both days. For more information, email to fairburyridepot@windstream.net.
There will be blacksmithing and horseshoeing demonstrations, a working saw and shingles mill, old farm machinery show and tours of historic buildings, which comprise the Steele City Historic District.

Events:
2012 featured theme is John Deere, but all tractors are welcome!
Both Days: Antique Tractor Show - All Day, Saturday & Sunday. All Tractors are Welcome, No Registration Fee, Door Prizes, Register Saturday Morning at the South Registration Booth
Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides provided by Steve Black both days.

Pork Barbecue – Saturday evening at the Town Hall west of the Salty Dog.
Sunday: Tractor Drive – 8:30 a.m. Sunday - meet at the tractor site – 35 mile tour
Church services at the Historic Baptist Church - 9 a.m. Sunday
Tractor Parade - 3 p.m. Sunday featuring over 50 tractors! |
