The third weekend in September marks the Steele City Flea Market & Living History Weekend. Steele City is located just 12 miles southeast of Fairbury on Hwy 8.
Don't miss the food and live music both days!

There will be blacksmithing and horseshoeing demonstrations, a working saw and shingles mill, old farm machinery show and tours of historic buildings, which comprise the Steele City Historic District.
2013 featured theme was John Deere, but all tractors are welcome!
Both Days: Antique Tractor Show - All Day, Saturday & Sunday. All Tractors are Welcome, No Registration Fee, Door Prizes, Register Saturday Morning at the South Registration Booth
Saturday: Antique Tractor Pull - 11 a.m. Saturday on the Hill at the Steele City School Grounds, contact Julianne Endorf, 402-446-7486
Pork Barbecue – Saturday evening at the Town Hall west of the Salty Dog.
Sunday: Tractor Drive – 8:30 a.m. Sunday - meet at the tractor site – 35 mile tour
Church services at the Historic Baptist Church - 9 a.m. Sunday
Tractor Parade - 3 p.m. Sunday featuring over 50 tractors!
