The third weekend in September marks the Steele City Flea Market & Living History Weekend. Steele City is located just 12 miles southeast of Fairbury on Hwy 8.

There will be blacksmithing and horseshoeing demonstrations, a working saw and shingles mill, old farm machinery show and tours of historic buildings, which comprise the Steele City Historic District.
Both Days: Antique Tractor Show - All Day, Saturday & Sunday. All Tractors are Welcome regardless of make, and condition, No Registration Fee, Door Prizes, Register Saturday Morning at the South Registration Booth, contact Julianne Endorf, 402-446-7486.

Beer Garden and Street Dance Featuring Nx2's Day, band plays 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Steele City Rural Volunteer Fire Department, Proceeds support the department. Raffle for Veti Tundra 75 Cooler.
