Fairbury Community Concert Association Burkley Fine Arts Center The 2012-13 season marks the 32nd season that Fairbury Community Concert Association has offered quality, live performances to the people of southeastern Nebraska and northeastern Kansas. The Fairbury Community Concert Association offers a variety of concerts and artists to meet the tastes of the concert community. Born in Poland, multi-instrumentalist Jakub “Kuba” Kawnik (pronounced KAHV-neek) has been playing on different instruments since he was 5 years old. His primary instrument is the vibraphone, but he also plays drums, marimba, piano, guitar, violin, kalimba, flute and handsaw. He tours extensively on numerous cruise ship lines including Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and Princess.
Two on Tap marks the creative collaboration of celebrated musical theatre performers (and longtime friends) Melissa Giattino and Ron DeStefano. Their combined love for the beautiful melodies from the early days of Broadway along with the classic precision of tap choreography takes center stage in this hit show. Reveling in the chemistry and artistry of iconic song-and-dance couples like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Melissa and Ron will show you why those famous dancing duos continue to impress.
George Dyer has enchanted countless audiences in the United States and Europe with his dynamic shows that feature a delightful mix of opera and Broadway favorites. George soared onto the operatic scene in the New York City Opera's production of H.M.S. Pinafore. Since then he has performed with Hawaii Opera Theatre, Utah Symphony and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Currently, he has been entertaining the masses in The Dutton Family Theater in Branson, Missouri, with "The George Dyer Show".

This tribute is the first and only full-length John Denver tribute to headline in Las Vegas and has been celebrated nationally and internationally. In addition, CBS television produced a made for TV movie "Take Me Home: The John Denver Story," in which Jim Curry was selected as the singing voice of John Denver. |
