Dr. Jeffrey John Johnson grew up in South Central Nebraska and is a graduate of Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Johnson returned to Nebraska to raise his family and practice full scope optometry.

Johnson Family Vision Care provides contact lenses and glasses, and also treats eye trauma and ocular disease.

Dr. Johnson enjoys the opportunity to treat the wide variety of vision and eye health problems each day. Dr. Johnson specializes in Family Vision Care, treating patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.

Johnson Family Vision Care loves kids! They carry over 60 styles of kid’s frames and offers a “kid’s pack” for $140.00 which includes the frame, lenses and warranty.

You’ll find over 500 adult frames in stock to choose from in a wide range of prices to suit any budget, ranging from a budget line to high-fashion designer frames. Safety glasses are also available.

There is a nice selection of sunglasses, many of which can be made into prescription sunglasses. Specialty high-index lenses help keep high prescriptions thinner and polarized sunglasses help cut the vertical glare from coming into the eyes.

Johnson Family Vision Care also has many different progressive lenses for those needing help to read but don’t want bifocal or trifocal lines.

They also carry many types of contact lenses for many individuals; including great Toric contacts for those with astigmatism and some bifocals contact lenses that can help minimize the need for supplemental reading glasses. 

Johnson Family Vision Care provides contact lenses and glasses, and also treats eye trauma and ocular disease. Dr Johnson can treat all infections of the eyes and eye diseases (like glaucoma), and remove foreign bodies.  He also co-manages lots of cataract surgery patients and refractive surgery patients.

Dr. Johnson has more than 16 years of experience in diagnosing and treating eye health conditions. Dr. Johnson lives in Fairbury and can be at his office in a moment’s notice for emergencies. He services Jefferson and the surrounding counties with an office in downtown Fairbury and privileges at the Jefferson Community Health Center.
