Welcomes Dr. Jonathan Winter!

July 2010 - Countryside Vet Clinic is welcoming a new doctor into its ranks! Jonathan Winter D.V.M. recently graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and returned to Fairbury where he was born and raised. He joined the family practice where his parents Dr. Janet and Dr. Larry Winter have been serving the Fairbury area for 27 years.

Dr. Jonathan is a mixed animal practitioner and enjoys working with both large and small animals. Dr. Jonathan excelled in all of his rotations at KSU’s Vet Hospital where he learned new medical and surgical techniques, medical and pharmaceutical treatments, use of state of the art technology and procedures and gained invaluable experience from peers and seasoned practitioners and specialists. He especially enjoyed small animal surgery (including orthopedic), dermatology, equine medicine and his food animal rotations. Dr. Jonathan also enjoyed and gained knowledge through externships at the Nebraska Humane Society and at a large animal practice in rural Kansas.

Dr. Jonathan is excited to bring his enthusiasm and passion for animal care and join the caring staff at Countryside Veterinary Clinic.
