5/2/2012 - Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman was in Fairbury Tuesday to preside over a groundbreaking ceremony for a new $1.2 million wastewater treatment facility at the Westin Packaged Meats/Fairbury Operation plant, located at 810 Bacon Road. Preparing to turn dirt for the new expansion are, left to right, Julie Katz, Director, Community Redevelopment Authority, Caleb Hunt, Engineer Westin Packaged Meats, Brad Poppen, COO Westin Packaged Meats, Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman, Fairbury Mayor Homer Ward and Ron Schacht, GM Westin Packaged Meats/Fairbury Operation.
