Buckley Creek Recreation Area
14 miles southwest of Fairbury and 1/2 mile north of Hwy 8
Managed by the Little Blue Natural Resources District, Buckley
Creek Recreation Area consists of 78 land acres and a 20-acre lake.
Buckley Creek is a great recreation choice to enjoy camping, fishing,
boating and golf.
Buckley Creek Recreation Area offers picnic shelters, grills,
water well, camping, restrooms, and 4 camper hookups. There is
a limited playground on site as well. Hunting is not permitted
at this site.
Buckley Creek Recreation Area offers anglers the opportunity to

Buckley Creek Recreation Area features the Clarke McNary Arboretum
and a 9-hole golf course. The course is maintained by the Buckley
Creek Recreation Association and features sand greens. Green fees
to play the course are $2 per person per day.
