MSA Promotions Expands Into Screen Printing, Embroidery Production Facility Located In Former Swingster Building
History has the chance to repeat itself. After running several open ended ads in the newspaper, the town was buzzing with what could be going on. Their questions have been answered.
It was recently announced that MSA Promotions, a specialty advertising products distributor, has expanded their operations to include in-house screen printing and embroidery services. The company currently operates out of The Fairbury Journal-News' office in downtown Fairbury. Their production area is staged in the former Swingster building, almost in the same area as it was when Swingsters operated there.
"This move just made sense to us," said MSA Promotions manager Laura Alsman. "These services have been lacking in our area for quite some time and with former Swingsters employees already working in the McBattas Packaging & Printing plant, it just seemed like the right fit. These employees are the perfect foundation for us to build upon."
Sales and design will still be carried out in the main office at 516 5th St. in Fairbury.
The equipment that will be utilized includes a four-station six-color manual screen printing unit and a six-head 15 color embroidery machine.
"As you can see we are setup to handle large and small orders," Alsman said. "We want to be the customer's number one choice when it comes to screen printing and embroidery. When you place an order with us, you will be supporting local jobs and our economy as well as getting quality products."
The company also has another expansion in the works. They plan on adding commercial sewing in the near future as well.
"Growth is always exciting. These two expansions mean the possibility of adding more jobs and keeping more of our dollars local. That is something that should be important to all of us." |
